One Touch Dispatch watches every bus, every rider and every alert — and answers the dispatcher's questions from live data, in plain English. Drivers get an iPad that calls names out loud. Parents get a page that says "Bus 12 is 5 minutes away" and "Ava is on the bus."
Not a reporting chatbot. The assistant works from the same live snapshot the map uses — buses moving right now, who is on them, what is unacknowledged — positions, riders, alerts, inspections, staffing — and it never invents a bus, a driver or an event that isn't there. Safety concerns come first, every time.
Ask in plain English, in English, Spanish or French. Answers lead with the fact, then what it rests on.
A three-line brief in the header when the dispatcher signs in: what's urgent, what's on watch, what's fine.
It catches what a busy office misses and tells you the next action.
Matches a parent's "blue lunchbox" to what drivers logged, and reviews end-of-shift photos so an empty bus is provably empty.
We built these because no transportation office we talked to had them — and every one of them has a child, a driver or a parent on the other end.
At each drop-off the iPad shows one name in huge type and speaks it, in the driver's language. Off / not here / no guardian, one tap each. Nobody rides past their stop.
Driver · name callingDispatch gets a red full-screen alert with the bus's last record for that child: boarded 2:58, still on bus 12, next stop Pinecrest. Answer in seconds, not after three calls.
Parents → dispatchParents register what's on their child — AirTag, Tile, GPS watch — and open it in one tap. The office knows it exists when it matters most.
Parents · trackersWith the communication add-on, dispatch can open a live audio window into any bus during an incident — with the driver told on screen.
Dispatch · communication add-onExpired inspection, failed pre-trip, missing paperwork — the run cannot start, the driver's screen says why, dispatch sees it on the watchlist.
Fleet · complianceTie-downs, occupant belts, lift sequence — a checklist built on NHTSA and FMVSS guidance that must be completed before the rider is recorded on board.
Driver · securementA parent texts anything — "where is she?" — and gets "Ava: ON BUS 12 since 8:39 AM." Text "absent" and the driver knows before the stop.
Parents · SMS auto-replyDrivers scan the cab tag; students scan their badge. A child boarding the wrong bus is flagged before the doors close. Print the badges and tags yourself.
Driver · scan on / scan offBreakdown or medical SOS from the cab shows the closest ER, police and fuel to that bus — for the driver and for dispatch — in one touch.
SOS · nearest helpWe'll load one bus, one route and a handful of riders, then let you run the morning — and ask the assistant whatever you'd ask your best dispatcher.
